Tucked into a wee corner of Elmwood, a passerby would be forgiven for thinking Rocksalt is a quick coffee stop. It may not look more than a cafe, but visit in the evening for well-done favourites, interesting specials, and enticing desserts.
The lamb rump served with scallop potatoes rivals dinner in some of the most upmarket establishments in the city. And saving room for dessert is crucial. Interestingly layered in filo and beautifully plated, the bannoffee pie is a winner. Highly recommended also, the sweet apple crumble.
Accompanied by the friendliest unrushed service, dining at Rocksalt is recommended - without hesitation.
