I wanted to post my lunchtime experience as I have contacted the restaurant & had no response...

I so enjoyed my steak served with spinach pesto, that I still salivate remembering the taste of it. It was beautifully flavoured & prepared & the accompanying salad was delicious...

However I also unfortunately recall with horror that, the first fork full of salad revealed the inclusion of a significantly sized, screwed up piece of plastic wrap (such as may have been covering a product like cheese etc). I can only hope that the offending piece of plastic was on its way to the bin & had not escaped from it...

I carefully removed the offending object, placed it to the side & showed the waitress, when she came past... I explained its unwanted & unwarranted inclusion in the salad & she asked for the specimen & promptly disappeared; we assumed to return with a verdict/apology or whatever... However she was not seen again & nothing more was said even when we paid the bill.

I feel the omission of an apology, at the very least, was not in my best interests & although I enjoyed my meal, I am left with a bad taste re the level of customer service...
