Little Italy, Bishopdale, Christchurch is a brand new Italian restaurant with a fusion of fresh New Zealand flavors that blend with traditional italian meals. A range of delicious meals for everyone! A great selection of Pizza to takeaway or dine in and try some of the amazing meals available from the brand new menu!

We had brought a Grabone deal for this 1 pizza and fries, was told when we asked for table that we need to book, so we were happy to go home and do this for another day, bar lady said no it's all good. They didn't appear to be busy and most patrons had already eaten or their meals were ordered, was only about 6.30pm so was not closing anytime soon.

Menus were given not run through specials or up sold as most places do with vouchers, we ordered our meal, and had to go to bar to order, was good water was brought over and we weren't waiting long for meal to arrive - the prices in menu aren't bad and is a relaxed atmosphere only thing is going to bathrooms you need to pass the bar and this is slightly awkward when you go restaurant you don't really want to have to pass the bar (which in another room to go bathrooms) should make some for Little Italy.

We were happy with our meals pizza was huge and tasty and fries were pretty good, just assumed they'd come from Fish n Chip shop next door, service was okay nothing amazing, but that's expected with the bar staff doing the service. I was a little upset with the comment made after we'd finished she said oh that's good effort not many people finish their meals, could have done without that, made me feel like fat blob and very embarrassed, my partner doesn't care he eats so much anyway!! :(

Anyway, was clearing plates before I had finished my mouth full so felt rushed to leave table and go home, no other people had come in after us, so very quiet.

Okay for a casual meal out nothing amazing or a romantic date meal.

Good prices and good sized meals, wouldn't be happy to pay full price but entertainment book does a discount in the book and Grab one often does.

Greeted when first came in, we'd asked how long food would be upon ordering and staff made effort and checked with chefs so we ordered, and were blown away with the size of small pizza...was huge and great price and the staff recommended one for us, and it was yummy!! my partner had the ribs and was equally impressed, though maybe a wee bit pricey given he only got 7. The double bourbon was not very strong and possibly the diet coke was opened a little longer than it needed to be, but the staff member who served us was great and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I would love to try some of their other "italian dishes" next time.
