DineAid 2011

DineAid 2011

The annual DineAid campaign is on course to match its past performance in the high value of donations received from participating restaurants. The last campaign raised NZ$117,859 for City Mission food banks around the country, and with a $300,000 advertising campaign donated by media organisations, this year is likely to exceed that.

DineAid seeks a gold coin donation of $2 to be added to the total account of tables dining in more than 200 of the country’s top restaurants, with the total proceeds going directly to the City Mission charity.

The 200 include most of the country’s most highly respected establishments, including;

Non Solo Pizza, Parnell
Ponsonby Road Bistro, Ponsonby
Prego Restaurant, Ponsonby
Harbourside Seafood Bar & Grill, Viaduct
Molten Restaurant, Mt Eden
O’Connell St Bistro, Auckland CBD
Jervois Rd Steak House, Herne Bay
Sails Restaurant, Westhaven Marina
The Engine Room, Northcote
The Falls Restaurant, Henderson
The French Café, Auckland
Monsoon Poon, Auckland-Viaduct
The Grove, Auckland
Cook’n with Gas, Christchurch
Captains Restaurant, Queenstown
Fishbone Bar & Grill, Queenstown
Pier 19 Restaurant, Queenstown
Logan Brown, Wellington
Monsoon Poon, Wellington
Euro Restaurant, Viaduct, Auckland

Since the annual campaigns began three years ago, the project has raised a total of NZ$243,960. DineAid registered restaurants are well branded on menus and with table talkers, and notification of the donation opportunity is also included with bills.
