Steeped in European chic and adorned with mirrors and furnishings of a distinctly French feel, Brigittes earns its place as Merivale's continental café.
Service was a bit brisk and confusing - à la française. The wait for coffee was likewise leisurely. There is a lot to like though - delicious dishes and an overall ambiance of unrushed dining and discussion.
With the closure of much of the mall, Merivale needs a draw card right now. And Brigittes is one, c'est clair.
