After a couple of years scouring the neighbourhood of Addington for a suitable cafe venue, the Addington Coffee Co-Op finally scored the old mechanics workshop at 297 Lincoln Rd.
In one corner of the cafe, the Probat coffee roaster emanates the sweet aroma of roasting coffee on a daily basis. Beans can be purchased in-store or from their online store.
They've installed what we reckon are the tallest bi-fold doors in Canterbury, so the sun really has no choice but to stream into the seating area. Be it a Nor-West or Easterly biting at your heels, there's always a sheltered wall to open up.
There is free wireless Internet so you can do some work while hanging at the cafe. A private meeting room is available to use - no charge but bookings advised.
