High on my agenda when I booked at The Monday Room was giving a few of their high-end cocktails a test drive. After one, though, I couldn't testify to their goodness. Potent is not the word. Deadly more like. But you know, deadly in a good way.
A huge fan of their upmarket offerings, I couldn't quite stretch to a measure of their $700 a bottle Glenmorangie. One of only 12 in the country. Their vodkas on the other hand are blinding and not bad value considering the quality.
For a date or party, when you want to sip in style, The Monday Room is it. An unbeatable Christchurch newcomer for an occasion or not.
