Taps change regularly and guests beers are publicised in advance along with semi-regular tasting nights arranged with the specialists. And though it’s mainly about the beer, they do a very decent G&T and have a substantial wine list if you prefer. Along with brewers' degustations, entertainment is central to the bustling atmosphere, be it quiz night, free pool or the three-times-a-week live music. It’s far too easy to while away Sunday afternoons here and accidentally end up making a night of it.
