To owners of The Darkroom, the bar is an assortment of ‘just the things we like’. To a dedicated drinker though, the uncompromised spirit selection is an idyllic one. The craft beer bottle fridge, a showcase in taste. Calm, cool and very well collected indeed.
The Darkroom does attention to detail, right down to the mini salt cellar on the side of your tequila and the sprigs of rosemary in the table decor. Interesting live music packs the place on Thursdays and Fridays. Leaving Wednesdays and Saturdays for pizza lovers or the more faint of heart.
Just what Christchurch needed. A bar very much quirkier than just a dark room.
