Meryl Streep is brilliant in this film, filling out the role of Margaret Thatcher perfectly. However the film itself seems to gloss over some of Thatcher's more controversial periods.
I have to admit as a pom living in NZ I remember Thatcher and the difficulties we went through with her but I am completely excited for this film. I love Meryl Streep and I think if anyone can do Thatcher in a movie it would be her.
