I haven't seen the first one but this is a lot funnier and more enjoyable than I was expecting. Great action!
As a child I loved the old black and white Sherlock Holmes episodes that where played at silly times of the night. So when the first of the updated versions came out I was sceptical but loved it. This meant I went to the sequel full of excitement as the trailers looked brilliant.
Now for the most part the film had the same wit and action as the previous edition and I just love the upholstery disguises. I would say the major flaw in this movie is it does drag on a little, I think Guy Ritchie over indulges in his slow motion action replays scenes this time around and it just draws the movie out to much. Don't get me wrong there are some incredible scenes but as I said I think its just a little to much.
The final word is once again Robert Downy Jr. was excellent. Definitely worth a watch.
Perhaps not as fast paced as it could be and a little too wordy at times, but definitely worth seeing. Great action scenes in a typical Guy Ritchie style with a quality performance from Jude Law.
the first sherlock holmes film was one of my favourites so looking forward to this one. robert downy jr is a legend.
