Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.

Hugo is Martin Scorsese's first family film and also his first in 3D.

Starring: Oscar Kightley, Robbie Magasiva and Shimpal Lelisi
Genre: Comedy

It's five years on.. the boys are older but are they wiser? The sequel to the New Zealand box office smash hit Sione's Wedding.

Transplanted to Mars, a Civil War vet discovers a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter a princess who is in desperate need of a savior.

This film has been in various stages of production since 1931. Thought to be unmakeable due to its epic scope the film finally got the greenlight from Walt Disney Pictures in 2008.

Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth
Genre: Action

Based on the novel by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games are set in a future where the Capitol selects a boy and girl from the twelve districts to fight to the death on live television. Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister's place for the latest match and will have to survive her decision.
